Share |

Website is a marketing tool that needs constant updation in terms of fresh content, relevant keywords that can pull it to a better search engine ranking. Creating and leaving a website just like that to give results and leads on its own is not possible.

Updating your website with fresh keyword rich content in a regular interval makes it easier for the web spiders to crawl and index your website. This, as a result, takes you to a better rank in the search engine.

You need to optimize your website constantly to get noticed by the search engines and thus can always stay on the top 5 ranks. Improved search engine rank can only keep you in front of the target audience. In general, website revamping requires the following step:

Fresh content: You brand is not alone in this search engine ranking race. The quality of your content plays a major role in staying ahead of competition and getting eyeballs and attention from the search engines. Read the content page by page and make relevant chances, corrections based on what target prospects are looking for and stuff it with keywords.

Title tags: It is vital to have appropriate title tags. Search engine usually reads title tags to determine what a particular page is all about. A title tag should have 60 characters and at least contain one of the main keyword.

Other important things that are H1 tags and proper navigation, nature of images, etc. All this will be covered in the next post.

Before signing off, you should remember that no matter how nicely a website is designed and how flowery the content is, it's not going to bring in business if it is not search engine friendly. By revamping your website you can achieve this.
